A big tree in San Francisco

I like this tree for its great size and for the fact that it is in a location that allows for a full tree shot. Very often it is amost imposible to get this type of image of a large tree due to the fact that they normally grow in forests or in locations where there always seem to be obsticals in the way of the perfect shot. I would like to know what kind of tree this is. From a distance it looks like some kind of Cypress or Cedar.
